TENKO is a Japanese Taiko Drum group which started as a family Taiko group. Now the group is a lot bigger with members from different nationality and races, but all with the passion for Taiko.

They have been introducing different styles; from pieces only with Taiko to a fun piece with many types of instruments such as small drums, metal instrument or a bamboo flute. They also showcase SATOKAGURA or OHAYASHI with traditional dances with different masks, such as SHISHIMAI, Japanese Lion dance and Daikokusama(the Fortune God). Each piece is unique by its own rhythm, tempo, style and mobility. TENKO would like our audience to discover that Japanese Taiko is not just static or powerful; there are different sides of it for different occasions, mood or celebrations.
